Two minutes a day.
Five colors.
Your actual friends.
Your best friends live in different cities now, and the group chat is mostly memes. Huenite gives your circle one tiny thing to do together each day: draw the same prompt for two minutes, then submit yours to see what your friends have drawn.
You still love your people.
You just don't see them.
The group chat is still going, but it's mostly memes and "we should hang out soon." Everyone's spread across different cities, jobs, and time zones. You used to be part of each other's day without trying. Now catching up takes a calendar invite, so most weeks it doesn't happen.
the messages that never turn into plans
A tiny thing you do together, every day.
It takes about two minutes. There’s no feed to check and no streak to keep.
- 01today's promptdraw what tomorrow feels like
Same prompt
Everyone gets the same daily prompt, like “draw what tomorrow feels like.”
- 021:24
Two minutes
A two-minute timer starts. It’s too short to overthink, so nobody bothers trying to be good.
- 03
The reveal
Submit your drawing to unlock what your friends have drawn. More drawings appear as your friends submit theirs.
- 04
React
Leave a heart, a laugh, or a quick doodle on each other’s drawings. Then you’re done until tomorrow.
See what the reveal feels like.
It's the same canvas and the same five colors your circle will use. Draw anything, hit reveal, and watch your square land next to your friends'. No account needed.
your square joins the reveal
Your circles are invite only.
A circle is you and the friends you invite. Everyone gets one daily prompt, and your one drawing is shared across your active circles. There are no followers, no public feed, and no algorithm deciding who sees what. Circle members can export and share eligible drawings outside the app. Drawings marked private are excluded from exports and shared stories.
- Invite only
- No followers
- No public feed
- A private gallery
Start one with your college roommates, your siblings, or the group from that trip you still talk about. Every drawing lands in your circle's gallery, so over time you build a scrapbook of your friendship.
Busy week? Nothing breaks.
Pause anytime
Traveling, swamped, or just not feeling it? Pause for as long as you need. Huenite waits for you.
Your square, your call
Skip a day and your square stays blank. Nobody keeps score, and there's no streak to lose.
Gentle nudges
Reminders feel like a friend checking in, never like an app trying to guilt you.
Save your circle a spot.
Huenite is made for the friends you already text every day. Add your circle's name and their emails, and you'll all get in together.
what happens next
- 1You get a confirmation, and each friend gets one invite.
- 2We let your circle in together, so nobody's stuck waiting on anyone.
- 3When the app is live, you'll get early access.
Fair questions.
What is Huenite?
Huenite is a daily drawing app for small groups of friends. Every day everyone gets the same prompt and two minutes to draw it with five colors, and submitting your own drawing unlocks what your friends have drawn. It's a small ritual for staying close to friends who've scattered to different cities, and there's no feed to keep up with.
Who is Huenite for?
It's for friend groups who used to see each other every day and now don't: college friends who've moved away, long-distance friends, siblings in different cities, or the group from a trip you don't want to lose. If your group chat is mostly "we should hang out soon," Huenite was made for you.
Do I need to be good at drawing?
No. Two minutes and five colors don't leave time to be good, which is why it works. A stick figure and a masterpiece show up at the same size. Submit yours to see what your friends have drawn. All it takes is two minutes and a few people who'll see it.
How many people can be in a circle?
A circle can have up to 50 active members, whether that's your closest friends or the whole group chat. There are no followers or discovery feed, and no algorithm decides who sees what.
Who can see my drawings?
Inside Huenite, drawings are visible to members of your invite-only circles. Everyone gets one daily prompt, and your one drawing is shared across your active circles. Each circle has its own reveal and gallery. Circle members can export and share eligible drawings outside the app. Drawings marked private remain visible in the circle but are excluded from exports and shared stories. Submit your own drawing to unlock your friends' drawings for that day.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing breaks. There are no streaks, and you can pause for as long as you need. If you don't draw, your square stays blank and nobody keeps score. Reminders feel like a friend checking in, never like an app trying to guilt you.
How is Huenite different from BeReal or Instagram?
BeReal is about capturing a photo of your day, and Instagram is built for posting to an audience. On Huenite your circle makes something instead. Everyone draws the same prompt, circles are invite only, and there are no followers to perform for. The drawings collect in your circle's gallery, so over time you build something together.
Is Huenite free?
Yes. The whole ritual is free, including the daily prompt, drawing, the reveal, and your circle's gallery. If we add paid extras later, they'll be optional, and the core will stay free.
When can my friends and I start?
Huenite is in early access. Add your circle's name and a few of your friends' emails to the waitlist, and we'll let your whole circle in together.
